Gluten Free Stuffing Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 8 cups Becky D's gluten-free bread crumbs
  • ½ cup olive oil
  • ½ cup onion, finely chopped
  • ½ cup celery, finely chopped
  • 2 teaspoons savoury seasoning
  • ¼ teaspoon salt (or more, to taste)
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper (or more, to taste)
  • ¼-1 cup broth (chicken or vegetable, your choice!)

Directions:

  1. Start with Becky D's sandwich bread: cut it into small chunks and leave it out overnight to dry. Pro Tip: Use bread heels and scraps stored in the freezer throughout the year.
  2. Sauté onions and celery with 2 Tbsp of olive oil in a large fry pan over medium heat until they're soft and fragrant.
  3. In a large bowl, mix together bread crumbs, savoury seasoning, sautéed onions, celery, and ¼ cup of olive oil.
  4. Gradually add ¼ cup of broth (adding more as needed) until you can form the bread into balls.
  5. Add the remaining olive oil to the fry pan. When it's hot, add the bread mixture and brown over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
